An LLM-based agentic approach for assisting the translation of Functional Analysis documents into structured UNICOS specifications at CERN. The system combines document processing, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool-based interaction through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), providing a foundation for automating specification tasks while retaining traceability to engineering sources.
